Decorative and stamped concrete in Yakima
We rent stamps and stock integral color, color hardener, releases, sealers, acid stains, water stains and Perma-Tique.
Chapter 01
Stamps we rent, from Majestic Ashlar to Windrose
We rent stamps. The patterns on the yard's list run from Majestic Ashlar and Old Chicago Brick to Hadley Creek Shale Texture and Windrose, with Heavy Stone and Tumbled Edge Stone borders for the edges. The full list is typeset further down this page.
A stamp presses its pattern into the surface while the concrete is still workable, which is why the timing of the pour matters more than the pattern you pick. Typically the surface is floated, color hardener and release go down, and then the stamping starts, so plan the day around that window rather than around the stamp.
The rental is one price for the texture skin set, shown on the ticket below. Tell the yard which area you are pouring, because a heavy stone border and a field pattern are usually different tools.

Color goes into the batch, not on afterward
Pick your choice of color and we can add it. We can add color choice to your concrete during the batching process, which is integral color: it is mixed through the whole load instead of painted on top, so a scuffed corner or a chipped edge typically does not show a different color underneath.
On top of the base color, a color hardener and a release finish the look. The release keeps the stamp from sticking to the wet surface and usually leaves a second tone in the low spots of the pattern, which is why the yard lists base colors and release colors side by side.
Do not pick a color from a screen. The color chart on the yard's own page says it shows the range of colors available and is not to be used to select colors based on how they look on a computer display, and some colors on it are starred as interior use only. Call the yard, say where the concrete is going, and talk the choice through before the batch.
Chapter 03
Do it yourself, or have us connect you with a professional
Do it yourself, or we can connect you with one of our professionals to complete your project for you. We sell the products and the know-how, and when you would rather not stamp a slab yourself, the finishing is done by one of the professionals we work with.
If you take it on, the whole shelf is here: integral color, color hardener, releases, sealers, acid stains, water stains and Perma-Tique. We stock Butterfield Color, and we also sell the forms and tools you need alongside the stamps.
A sealer is the last step and the one people skip, because colored and stamped concrete usually wants sealing to protect the finish. Stains are typically how you color a slab that has already cured. The yard's DIY training videos cover stamping concrete, STAMPABLE overlay and Perma-Tique.
